Can your probation be switched from one state to another?

My boyfriend and I have been planning to move with my parents to Georgia next month, but he is now in jail for domestic battery against an elderly person without bodily injury. His stepdad hit him, and then my boyfriend hit him back and its just really complicated. He went to jail 2 days ago, and then saw the judge yesterday. His stepdad is trying to drop the charges, but it might be too late now and his bail is set at $2,500, and he has to go back to court on the 25th of May. Many people that I have talked to have told me that he is probably going to get probation and anger management cles, etc, and what I need to know is if he does get probation, is it possible to switch it from here to Georgia? His family won't let him live with them and he has no where else to go. If he doesn't go with me and my family he will be homeless. I don't know what to do can someone please give me some answers. Is it possible to transfer probation from Florida to Georgia?
