In "The Great Gatsby" did Gatsby "turn out all right in the end"?

No I disagree with Nick there - and it is why I see him as an unreliable narrator. He allowed someone to go free - to commit a crime and walk away from it. Some may see that as a noble thing to do, but I don't because Daisy will never change. She will always be the same narcissistic, selfish individual (another word for *****) that she always was. He just allowed her to continue spreading her sticky sweet venom on whatever she touched. And I don't think that was right at all - no matter how much he loved her - or the person he thought she was. So - no - I don't think he turned out all right in the end. And I don't think he did anyone a favor for unleashing Daisy on the world. She was a very bad person and she destroyed him. Pax-C
