My kitten is 8 wks. old. She has the stinkiest farts?

I just adopted my kitten. She took right to the litter box but her constant farting is enough to make me go faint. She is eating Purina kitten chow and I did notice that it has corn in it. What store brand doesn't have corn in it? Is this farting normal?
