B is the only correct answer. The Space Shuttle has NEVER taken astronauts to the Moon. The Apollo spacecraft were used for this. The last manned flight to the Moon was in 1972 and the shuttle was not operational until 1981. The shuttle was not designed to go to the Moon, it was only designed for earth-orbital missions and that's what it's used for.
