It is a wrong comparison. Comparing him with Bheeshma is an insult of Bheeshma. Its better to compare him with Dhitrashtra who shamelessly watched the acts of Duryodhan & Dushasan and even after such shameful act he supported Duryodhan to such extent that he went for war just for his son.
