Christians out there?

i just read the transcript from rev. wright's (spelling?) sermon, and though i get what he's trying to say, does anyone else also disagree with him like i do? i don't know about you guys but i don't look to my government for peace. i don't confuse government with god and i don't expect to gain peace through any war. in the verse in luke that his sermon was taken from, it suggests that people missed the meaning of his coming. that is what that means but on a larger scale. EVERYONE missed the reason for Christ's coming and that is the point. the point is that there is no peace and will not be in this world...ever. we, by our imperfect humanity need a perfect savior because we, in our imperfect humanity will never achieve perfect peace, right? and doesn't our faith also teach that "the governments shall be upon His shoulders"? what does that mean in the scheme of things? that God is still in control, still has his hand in everything, even flawed government run by flawed people. perhaps
