The ironic dilemma, what are my chances?

i know exactly what you're going through. i've been down that road a lot, a whole lot. she says she needs time, give it to her. just be sure that you're talking to her some. don't tell her you love her for a couple of days, but still talk to her. try and get her to tell you exactly what she's feeling, course if all women did that then we wouldn't have problems now would we. it sounds to me like you really care about this girl, and she definately cares about you. she may want to be more than friends, she may not. either way show her that you support her in whichever decision that she makes. keeping in mind that i've been through your situation again and again, i think your chances of being a friend that she loves and being her man are 60%-40%. but keep hoping that things will work out to your favor, ask God to help you out. that's what i'm doing right now in my situation. hope my answer has helped you out in some way
