So I have 2 Zebra finches. They laid 4 eggs in March and only 2 hatched. I have the babies who are about 6 weeks old in a different cage because the parents laid a new clutch and the father was being aggressive. I did not intend to breed them right away again as I heard that if they still are feeding their babies they wouldn't lay again. Now I have 7 eggs in the nest. Just today I saw them mating again! I do not know what to do, I do not want to separate them because I do not want the mom to have to take care of them all by herself, and I will NOT kill the eggs. Some 5 of them are already darker so that means there is an embryo inside. I just want to know why they are breeding so much, and what I can do to discourage it.

Oakland Raiders @ Jacksonville Jaguars?

Still too early to tell. I think what we are seeing is a preview of their future, not necessarily their present. What I mean is, this is just one great season so far. We need to see just how well they do next year before we jump to conclusions. But remember the AFC West is still a tight division with the Chiefs holding a two game lead over both the Chargers and Raiders. That being said, I think the Raider are having a heck of a year. When you look at the talent they have I think its quite obvious the Raiders are in the same position the Lions are, and that is they are playing this well because of how many years they have had high draft picks. The only difference between the two teams is, the Lions haven't been able to take advantage of their opportunities. The Raiders I think will miss the playoffs this season. The final two spots are held by the Ravens and the Jets. That means its going to be difficult for the Raiders to make it to the post season. I don't think their season is a bust if they don't make it, but I do think they are showing that they can contend next season. In fact, I'm surprised at how well Tom Cable has coached. It will be close, but I still think the Raiders will at the very least end with 2nd place in the division.

Confused about Meiosis and Mitosis...EXAM 2m please help!?

Well...what Im confused about is whether the 2 daughter cells formed in mitosis are 2n each or if they are 1 n...if they are 2n, does that mean during prophase the chromosome replicates itself becomes 4n so that when telephase and cystokinesis is through, they have 2n daughter cells? Also...in meiosis...since each gamate carries 1N and when they fuse become 2n...does that mean when the replicate prior to anaphase I, they are 4n? then meosis II they are 2n which break down to 1n each in each of the 4 daughter cells? Thanks so much...it's just that in the diagrams in the text books...the resulting daughter cells in mitosis and meiosis look like they dont have that "X" chromosome look as when the chromosome is ready to divide...so im not sure how you can distinguish between what a 1n and a 2n chromosome looks like.

Recently i have been to an aquarist (stores) here in my place {Karimnagar(county), INDIA} to buy a fish bowl for my sister for her birthday, looking at the variety of fish i was very much fascinated to buy a turtle which i have seen there. As i did not wanted to buy a huge tank i asked the guy if turtle is happy in a bowl, and tht rascal said YES. Bought the turtle and was happy, later i felt the turtle wasn't joyous and i started browsing over the yahoo answers and found out everything about the TURTLE TANK, and immediately ordered for a 90 Gallon tank, that hopeless aquarist took a weeks time to get it, i was not able to find a turtle dock and a UVB lamp all over my place and also in the next CITY, so i attached a gl slab at the top and decided to put on some stones for the basking, it took many days for the setup due to the improper resources here, finally the turtle in the tank but with a small filter, between i was searching for an external canister filter, but by the time i bought it, due to improper basking i guess, the baby turtle ped away, i felt really bad, now as its difficult to find all those here i have decided to convert my tank into a fish tank, i have already had algae eaters and shark like fish in it, now i bought a pair of silver dollar, planning to get a pair of blood parrot fish and one single fengshu fish(long white coloured slender one), can you please suggest me whether should i use the external filter (1400L/hr). If i use this external filter how often will i have to change the water? and i want some beautiful colorful fish in my tank, a little expensive would do but not too high though, so could u please suggest me what all fish i can put in the tank? Turtles are NOT meant to be handled, only when you have to change their water. My 2 RES turtles I have had for 1 and 2 years and they hate to be handled but my painted one loves to be picked up. The fact is most of them hate to be handled and would rather be swimming in the water. They swim in the front of the tank because they want food not to be picked up. Also, don't clip it's nails, males are supposed to have long nails and if you cut them you will most likely hurt the turtle.

High fever in 12 month old?

ok so a little over 3 weeks ago my son came down with a fever (104.7) so i took him to dayton childrens hospital they told me he had a double ear infection and sent us home. the next day i took him to the ears nose throat doc and he said his ears were perfect!! so he must just have a viral infection. ok so a week later he still has a fever in the 104 area. so i take him to liberty childrens hospital. they took blood and urine samples and done a x ray on his chest everything came back fine so they sent us on our way. well a couple of days ago he is still running this fever (3 weeks ) so we go to the pediatrition and he says bronchi (yesturday) and today he is just miserable so we go to cincinnati childrens and they said he doesnt have bronchitis just a cold!!! and sent us home. im out of things to do for him i have gave him tylenol and motrin for 3 weeks and it wont break but every doc is telling me something differant and NO ONE is helping this go away... what do i do??

Bad Idle When Car is Warm?

i have a 93 plymouth sundance with a 2.5 litre throttle body injection. and when its warm it has a pretty rough idle but when cold it runs perfect. it is sometimes hard to start like itll start than die than i have to pump the gas to start it again and that only happens sometimes when it sits overnight but i dont know if that has anything to deal with the rough idle when warm. i did get in a accident a couple months ago and replaced 2 of the 3 motor mounts. the 3rd one is a little cracked so i need to replace it but would that cause the car to idle rough only when warm? it only does it in drive and reverse and reverse is worse than drive... i also get very bad gas mileage and i mean bad as in 14mpg. the bad gas mileage was there before the car accident. i have changed the injector,wires,plugs,cap,rotor, and o2 sensor just as normal maintenance but it hasn't helped neither gas nor rough idle... could the computer the problem? oh and the check engine light is not on and there are no codes.

It's hard to do because of the set up of the board. They are set up so you can turn at a much higher angle than a skateboard, similar to a skateboard with extremely loose trucks. It's pretty hard to do tricks but i imagine if you get used to it anything is possible.

Pretty much every day I get to work and within an hour or so I need to drop my guts. I work opposite this right fat, slack, lazy, yawing whom I'm hoping everyone will think was the one what done the guffs as I don't want anyone thinking that the vile stench that permeates the office 3-4 times a day is me. After this, Stephanie completely ditched me for the best friends group. Kate and Loey hung out with two other girls. Gwen and Sara, I hung out with them whenever Kate and loey were on school activities. I became BFFs with them but soon I was chosen as the manager of the crosscountry team. Heart trouble only 21!! Help!!?

I'm 21 years old and I'm 5'7 and about 170 lbs.. About a year ago my father was having some heart issues and they found out he is actually missing a heart valve.. I've never had heart trouble but the doctor did inform my dad that it is hereditary and I need to get checked (I'm his only child) well I have a daughter that's almost 2 now and about 4 months ago I decided I needed to get serious about losing this baby weight I still had!! So I went to a diet doctor where I was prescribed phentermine.. It has done wonders for me., I started the diet 4 months ago weighing 210!! And now I'm down to 170 or so!! Recently though I've noticed my heart rate feels very very slow and almost like it's fluttering.. So I went to my family dr and explained to him what I felt like and that I'm on the phentermine.. He said phentermine if anything would speed your heart rate up, so he did an EKG in his office my bpm was 37!!!! He said it also was showing palpitations so he thought maybe it was the phentermine so he took me off of it for a while.. But about a week later i started back taking it because I really didn't feel any difference but they gradually went away and would come and go randomly.. Well now my heart is doing it again.. I just checked my heart rate and it was about 47 bpm.. Could this be a sign I too am missing a heart valve? I don't know what else to do.. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I'm more or less familiar with Nietzsche and his works like Beyond Good and Evil, On a Geneology of Morals, and the profound Thus Spoke Zarathustra. All of that work contains philosophy that is far out enough, but then last night as I was watching a History Channel presentation called The History of God, the narrator brought up the ancient religion of Zoroastrianism. I Hate My Dark Skin!?

My goodness this sounds so middleschool. I would expect this kind of behavior from children but not teenagers. I am sorry that this is happening to you, not the color of your skin but people's attitudes towards you. I am Hispanic and I love dark, dark people. My son is darker than me and I taught him to appreciate from a child the color of his skin and to never feel inferior to others and to ignore the ignorance of people. I can tell you that it is very common to dislike something about ourselves. I hate my curly hair and wish it was straight. I hate that I have freckles and wish I was skinnier but I learn to appreciate what I have because many pay money to have curly hair. Many would love to have freckles because they think is "cute" and many skinny people would love to gain weight. The color of your skin? Many pay money to get a dark, dark tan and spend hours in the sun or at the tanning salon just to do exactly that. Is all how you view things. Never look at the gl half empty, just look at it half full. And for those ridiculous people that make fun of you? Laugh with them. I do when people make fun of me. I am truly laughing at their ignorance though because well... poor things, they are ignorant and they will go to their grave in ignorance.

I have a question on a worksheet that I am confused about. It gives me a chart of say the amount of movies per month, the total utility obtained from each time, the marginal utility of each time I go, the price and the MU/P of each. It gives the same for the number of Books purchased per month. Each is seven times. So the question is, given a budget, what quantity of books and what quantity of movies will maximize joe's level of satisfaction. I'm confused as to where to start, should I just randomly select say 4 movies find out the total cost and then add the difference in books until I reach my budget?? I hope I made sense.

I have naturally curly/wavy hair, and I'm fine with my hair but I like wearing it straight sometimes but the flatiron I currently have doesn't work on my hair. When I bought the house last year I spent about 20k remodeling, now its worth about 40k less than I paid not including the cost of remodeling, its on the water in an a decent neighborhood in FL with a 10klbs boat lift and Gulf access, but I just dont see it going back up anytime soon. I dont qualify for a hardship package because I have a co-signer who makes too much money. I figure the amount I would save renting, or if I could possible buy another home before letting it go into default for a fraction of the cost with 1/2 the mortgage maybe the way to go, or rent. But Im getting nowhere and gonna be nowhere for a while, one more thing, if I decide to foreclose anyway to get the co-signer off so it doesnt affect their credit?

Hey, i recently got malware called anti virus xp 2008 and i simply got rid of it by running in safe mode then running AVG. Since I did this i have been having problem. My internet is much slower and when my windows xp loads up it often freezes and take a couple of tries(like3-4) to get working without freezing. Furthermore when I'm using a search engine link Google and when a click on the websites it often redirects me to various websites like findstuff.com or searchsomething.com which is not related with what I'm searching for. I thought i got some other virus so I ran AVG and spyware terminator but they found nothing. Do you have any clue what is going on and how to fix it. All input will be appreciated. you gotta switch up the workout. your body will get used to the muscle movements so you need to change your routine to put a "shock" to them. think it might be better to focus on weight training on 3 days a week and cardio on the off days. i also take a fat burner to give me that extra pep (preworkout) and muscle recovery supplements (post workout). how often do you focus on leg workouts? I have a buddy that does crossfit. look it up. the workouts are more efficient since it's main premise is to go through a workout, but you are judged not on the weight you lift and whether you finish, but how fast you finish the entire set.

So you would need to chart your basil temps and used ovulation strips for 1-3months. Female sperm live longer then male sperm, but they are slower so it may take several hours or even a day for them to reach the egg.Therefore you would need to have before you ovulate, then if you are truely set on a girl, you should not have during ovulation time. Male sperm s fast but they die quickly, so you would want to try for a boy the day you are ovulating or afterwards. This is part of the fairness of God. So how can Jesus pbuh die for us. This is a green light for people to sin as they wish since Jesus already died for us so we are forgiven. What type of fairness is this. So he wasted his life and according to christians was tortured to save people some of which do not deserve to be saved from their sins. Oh no! You want to be saved work on it and act properly. Otherwsie when you sin why do you ask for forgiveness if in your mind you are already forgiven since Jesus died for your sins. Can someone explain this dilemma.

a friend of mine is wanting to move to florida. she actually wants to move to palm coast florida to be with her family. she is on public houseing here in pa. she also gets food stamps and welfare health insurance. how can she get those things down there? she gets SSI and we know to contact the social security office here to tell them she is moving. but she needs help with other things as well. she will also continue to raise her 2 1/2 year old granddaughter there who she has custody of. how does she get medical insurance for her? right now she gets welfare insurance here but they do not accept it down there.
